Circuits Fermés

Defracto is a new performing arts company whose ambition is to develop a language using juggling and the body.

Our practice of juggling is graphic and rhythmic. We seek to create visual impressions, abstract patterns of dots and lines, with moving objects. Our work is primarily concerned with composition in space and time, creating an abstract, moving image on stage.

“Circuits Fermés” is about a relationship of co-dependence. One being observes the other’s obsession and, rather than trying to correct it, decides to experience it with him. The duo evolve in a closed circuit governed by its own operating rules and internal logic. “Circuits Fermés” offers a glimpse of those moments in life.
